September 2026: What I've Been Working On

5th of October 2026

#WorkUpdates

Mostly been focused on BookStack this month, so not much variety in this one. I’ve been tinkering with ESP32s a lot over the month in my spare time but don’t really have anything public facing to share for that.

BookStack

I enjoyed really getting into BookStack a bit more to finish off the v26.09 release, and the related surrounding content. As part of this, I also attempted to create a YouTube short for the release. It’s a bit awkward to create them from a standard widescreen video. Will have to see if it’s something worth continuing in the future.

Managed to also finally produce a video guide for installing BookStack on Ubuntu 26.04, after some failed recordings of this.

At the end of the month I had another little dive into CRA preparation since some requirements have now become active.
