March 2026: What I've Been Working On
Productivity has been low in March, mostly due to getting more and more ill as the month went on. That’s starting to change so hoping April will be much better.
BookStack
Finally got v26.03 out, after taking longer than desired.
There’s was another bunch of security releases this month also, two of which are the most significant we’ve had from BookStack. Strangely, for both, they were disclosed by a second researcher just a day or two after the original report (before being made public). I never enjoy having to put out security releases, and to be honest they drained my energy this month, especially since new issues were often raised the same day, or day after, the last security release. I’m thankful for the researchers finding & disclosing these though.
To lift my spirits going into April I decided to make a silly cat-based BookStack video to release on April fools day:

Blog Posts
Just the one additional post in March:
Is It Really Foss
Very little progress made, with just a single project addition. Will dedicate some time in April.
PHP Packages
This month I updated my AssertHTML package to widen PHPUnit version support, and to have more thorough automated testing.
